The Great Reno Balloon Race ~ 2011

My family and I, along with our good friends attended 

The Great Reno Balloon Races in Reno on Sunday 

September 11th.

What a wonderful event.  

The Dawn Patrol was an amazing sight.

The T-6 Formation Fly Over was during the National Anthem right before the 

Mass Ascension.

This fly over was even more meaningful since it was the 

10th anniversary of the Terrorist attacks of 9/11.

The Missing Man Formation was also performed 

in honor of the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

As soon as the planes disappeared into the horizon

a flock of Canadian Geese flew by also in the

Missing Man Formation.

What a chill this gave us!

While enjoying the warm weather and Labor Day weekend with my 

family at the lake, I "looked up" and suddenly realized
"Autumn is right around the corner"!
