Project 52 ~ Week 45 ~ Remembrance

This cup and saucer were part of my grandparents everyday dishes.  

I have one place setting in my china cabinet and whenever I see it I think of them.  I remember the weeks spent with them in sunny San Diego.  Days at the beach, zoo and comfort food served on these beautiful dishes.

I don't have a macro lens so I tried putting two lenses together.
It was an old film I had and was much smaller than my digital lens,
 but the photo came out okay.

I photographed my friends wedding this weekend.

Project 52 Week ~ 30 ~ My hometown

My hometown, an old mining town of the wild  west Virginia City Nevada.  This old building was once home to the Territorial Enterprise, a Nevada newspaper founded in 1858.

Noted author Mark Twain worked for the paper during the 1860s.
